September 5, 2008 - Dr. Gwenn Smith was unanimously elected by ICGP Membership as President-Elect for 2010-2012.

Gwenn Smith, Ph.D. is Visiting Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She is Director of Neuroimaging for the Division of Geriatric Psychiatry and Neuropsychiatry. For the past twenty years, her research has focused on developing and applying molecular imaging methods to understand the neurochemical basis of Alzheimer's disease and late life depression. She is an active member of several geriatric psychiatry training programs supported by the National Institutes of Health including the Summer Research Institute and Advanced Research Institute. She is a member of the American College of Neuropsychopharmacology (ACNP), of the Collegium Internationale Neuropsychopharmacologicum (CINP) and a founding member of the International College of Geriatric Psychoneuropharmacology (ICGP).

• The ICGP 2010 Annual Meeting will be held in Greece. September 15-18, 2010.
• ICGP 2012 Annual Meeting will be held in Sevilla, Spain.
